Hot Air Balloon Rides
Imagine being lifted up in a basket high into the sky over a scenic valley or ancient ruins. Riding in a hot air balloon is one of the most thrilling and unique experiences that SCREAM adventure! As a ride without seatbelts, this adventure is quite the experience for a daredevil.
Some of the best places to ride in a hot air balloon include Albuquerque, New Mexico (it hosts the biggest hot air balloon festival and race in the world), Serengeti, Tanzania, Cappadocia, Turkey, and Luxor, Egypt. Depending on the location, hot air balloons can cost up to $120 - $300 per person.
Two years ago, my family randomly decided to buy tickets to go on a hot air balloon ride in Luxor, and it was definitely worth it! Standing in a cramped basket, we flew over ancient ruins, including the famous Valley of the Kings. Although my mom was clinging to me the whole time, I was so grateful for that experience and so glad I did not drop my phone!
Bungee Jumping
In my opinion, bungee jumping is the ULTIMATE activity for an adrenaline junkie. Connected to a large elastic cord, bungee jumpers fall from a tall launched pad down towards a deep ravine. Yes, bungee jumping is dangerous, but it is not as dangerous as you may think. Almost all bungee jumping companies have extremely secure gear and have been in practice for many years. Not to be morbid, but you are more likely to die being stung by a bee than by bungee jumping.
Some of the best locations for bungee jumping include Bhote Kosi River, Nepal, Nevis Highwire, New Zealand, and Bloukrans Bridge, South Africa. Bungee jumping can cost up to $100 to $150 per person and per jump. If you are new to thrill-seeking, I do not recommend this as a start.
Rollercoaster Rides
Located in Marvel Super Hero Island of Universal Studios in Orlando, the Incredible Hulk Ride is one of my favorite roller coasters! This exhilarating steel roller coaster launches its riders into the air and undergoes twist, turns, and 7 inversions. To be honest, you can barely feel the inversions in the ride as everything happens so fast!
As Universal Studios is extremely popular, you will may have to wait up to a couple of hours to even go on this ride UNLESS you have an express pass. I 100% recommend an express pass because a 1 hour wait can become a 10 minute wait! Don't forget to store your items in a locker before this ride or else you are in BIG trouble. If you are just starting out thrill-seeking, I recommend starting with roller coasters!
